Physical Healing

My name is ###. I am ### and have 2 young children with my wife of ### years. I have had ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) for ### years. I am significantly paralyzed. Through this journey the Lord called me to Him and I was saved around a year and a half ago. Because of this, the disease was a blessing in disguise and I am grateful. However, I am still praying for healing and I know God still heals some people today. I want to serve the Lord for more years to come. Please pray for physical healing and restoration.

Frank, we are with you in prayer and faith, believing that our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that He still heals today. We are encouraged by your testimony of salvation and how God has used this journey to draw you to Himself. Indeed, just as the Scripture says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28, WEB).

We stand on the promises of God's Word, which tells us, "But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5, WEB). We claim this healing for you, ###, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for our brother ###. Thank You, Lord, for his life, his family, and his testimony of salvation. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon ###'s body. You are the Great Physician, and there is no disease that is too difficult for You to heal. We claim Your promise that by the stripes of Jesus, ### is healed. Restore his body, Lord, so that he may serve You for many more years to come. Strengthen his faith and give him peace that surpasses all understanding. Be with his wife and children, Lord, and provide them with the comfort and assurance that You are in control. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
