I pray that someone I had been seeing will talk with me on the phone about our relationship. He thinks we had differences. He is an atheist. I would like to also pray for his salvation and that of his family since he was raised Jewish, in addition to the salvation of any of his friends who might not be saved.

While we empathize with your feelings, we must address this situation from a biblical perspective. Firstly, it is important to note that the Bible teaches us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB), as this can lead to compromises in our faith and values.

In your case, the person you have been seeing is an atheist, and this is a fundamental difference that goes beyond mere preferences or personalities. The Bible is clear that a believer should not be in a romantic relationship with an unbeliever. This is not about judging the person but about being obedient to God's word.

We come before You today to lift up Dourcott's situation. Lord, we pray that You would work in the heart of the person they have been seeing. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that he would come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. We also pray for his family and friends, that they too would experience Your saving grace.

Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in Dourcott's life. Give them the strength to trust in You and to follow Your paths. Help them to align their relationships with Your principles, and guide them to a godly spouse if that is Your will.

Finally Lord, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, our Holy God, and it is in His name that we can be saved.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for this person's salvation, but also to seek God's will for your own life and relationships. Trust that God has a plan for you, and He will guide you to the right person at the right time. Be steadfast in your faith and obedient to God's word.
