Thank you. We are glad to pray and provide counsel based on the Word of God. Let us first address the verse mentioned Philippians 3:9, which reads, for we to "be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith." This verse reminds us that our righteousness does not come from our own efforts or adherence to the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Now, let us address the prayer request. Although we do not have specific details, we will pray for guidance, wisdom, and a closer walk with Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the one who submitted this request. We pray that they may be found in You, not having a righteousness of their own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith. We ask that You guide them, give them wisdom, and draw them closer to You. Help them to understand that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
We pray that if there are any areas in their life that do not align with Your will, that You would reveal them and give them the strength to turn away from them. We pray for a spirit of discernment and a hunger for Your Word. We ask that You would surround them with a community of believers who will encourage and support them in their walk with You.
As we are instructed in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 WEB, "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." We pray that they would be complete and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
In Jesus' name, we pray for a blessed life for them, a fruitful marriage if that is Your will. We pray for a future spouse that is a devout Christian if they are not already married. We pray for You to keep them strong against sexual immorality, fornication, adultery and homosexuality. We pray for them to be strong and avoid all sexual sins if they are not married and avoid adultery if they are married. We pray that they would be a light to the world, shining the light of Your love and grace.
Finally, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for we know that there is power in His name "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:9-11 WEB.
In closing, we encourage them to continue to seek God's will for their life, to trust in His promises, and to walk in His ways. We remind them of the promise in Jeremiah 29:13 WEB, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."
May God richly bless them and keep them in His care.
