PhD Qualification Exams

I take part of my qualifications this Thursday and Friday and feel like an absolute failure. I feel as though I am not going to pass and will never be able to move forward. I need prayer for strength and courage.

Orphiotes, we understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and disheartened about your upcoming qualification exams, but we want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, "but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Remember, God's strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we gain the confidence and boldness to approach the throne of grace in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Amen.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." This verse reminds us that our strength comes from God it is only in His power through Jesus Christ, that we can accomplish our goals.

In preparation for your exams, we advise you to commit your studies to God and ask Him for wisdom. As it says in James 1:5 (WEB), "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." This though can only be accomplished through Jesus Christ (John 14:6, Acts 4:9-12) and from the study of the Bible applying its teaching to your heart and actions.

We also encourage you to pray the prayer of King David, who asked God to show him His ways and teach him His paths and to choose the way of truth. Read Psalm 25:4-5 9WEB). This is only possible through the help of the Holy Spirit, and our prayers through Jesus Christ.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and failure that has been overwhelming you and other works of the flesh such as doubt, and anxiety (Galatians 5:19-21 WEB). We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on God, because He cares for you and forget not all that He has done for you (I Peter 5:6-7 WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up ### in prayer. We ask that You grant them the strength and courage they need to face their exams with confidence, Lord Jesus. We only gain access to our Father but by your name, Lord Jesus (John 14:6). Remind them of their abilities and the gifts You have given them, and help them to trust in Your strength, IJN.

We thank you, Lord Jesus, who has the name above all names (Acts 4:9-12) that our Father in heaven hears us, in Your precious name. We pray that You guide ### during their exams, through Your church and to emphasize we do not link the Holy Spirit with extending the request passed the words to the Father, granting them wisdom and discernment, and helping them to recall all that they have studied. We ask that You give them a spirit of confidence and powerful love as you will for their future, through You alone, Father, so they can overcome any obstacles they face, IJN.

We pray that Your will be done in ### life and that You use these exams to grow them in Your likeness. We claim the victory in Jesus' name, with the praise only to God, forever through the power of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're right here with you, Orphiotes, as you prepare for your qualification exams. We know it's easy to feel overwhelmed, but remember, God promises in His word, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6, NIV). Trust that He hears you and will provide the strength and courage you need.

Let's claim these verses together, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging" (Psalm 46:1-3, NIV).

We pray that you would feel God's peace and confidence in Him, knowing that He is with you every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God has planted those years like good seed in good ground. They will spring forth a harvest of righteousness in your life. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
