PHARISEES IN THE LAND

Not to be argumentative; yet, I must defend the Gospel. While I appreciate correction, where correction is necesssary and accurate; there have been many instances where the “correcting” was in err. Almost immediately after posting my last entry to my blog, which virtually nobody admits to reading – yet so many, here especially, have responded to with sheer cussedness and turned backs, I was confronted with such correction.

“Honey, if people are responding to your ministry with hatred and insults, then you must be doing it wrong. Jesus spoke in peace.” So said to me by a godly looking woman, with Bible in hand.

My first thought was, Jesus was altogether nailed to a cross because, in man’s estimation, He needed to be corrected because of His ministry - His claim of deity, the miracles He performed, and His chastising of the church, which according to church leaders, was blasphemy against God.

Luke 5:21 That set the religion scholars and Pharisees buzzing. "Who does he think he is? That's blasphemous talk! God and only God can forgive sins."

Matthew 27:1 Early in the morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people made their plans how to have Jesus executed. So they bound him, led him away and handed him over to Pilate the governor.​

I simply advised the woman, who confronted me m, to “read it again.” The Pharisees, being full of err, in their so called correction of Jesus, were always tracing His footsteps, insulting Him, and trying to trip Him up with frivolous questions in an attempt to disprove His ministry.

Matthew 22:15-16 (NIV) Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. *They sent THEIR disciples to Him along with the Herodians.​

*Notice how Jesus did not go to them, they came at Him with their foolishness.

Moreover, Jesus’s own family called Him crazy because of His ministry.

Mark 3:21 When His family heard about this, they went to take charge of Him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.”

Luke 8:21 He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word and put it into practice.”​

It’s not enough to simply look the part; we must live it. We must know the Word - that we do it.

Matthew 23:23b “but you neglect to obey the really important teachings of the Law, such as justice and mercy and honesty. These you should practice, without neglecting the others.”​

Not every online influencer has your best interest at heart; but rather, like the Pharisees, show up in other’s ministries to serve their own interest by casting doubt. This is how so many are persuaded and misled in err. Therefore, JESUS SAID...

Matthew 23:33b (MSG) It's on account of people like you that I send prophets and wise guides and scholars *generation after generation—and generation after generation you treat them like dirt, greeting them with lynch mobs, hounding them with abuse.​

*He still sends forth His prophets, even in this - especially in this generation.

Jesus is not only the author and finisher of my faith; He is the orchestrater and navigator of my ministry.

No, God does not. The last prophet is Jesus (who is God in the flesh) and there is no other prophets after His Holy Son. If there was, Jesus wouldn’t need to die to pay the price of our sins, which is death.

I disagree with your position. The antichrist will also perform miracles and wonders so we should not be aware but careful, since the devil is like a lion waiting for his prey.

There is no prophet of God that comes after Jesus Christ (the King of Kings).

In my opinion, Jesus was talking about His Apostles like Paul. He was not talking about Muhammad.

I suggest that you are careful with your messages.

Jesus is not a prophet. He is the Son of the living God. King of kings and Lord of lords and worthy of all praise.

I agreed with this post because Messiah was hated and He told us that we would be hated and persecuted too so I thumbed it up and was just going to share a message of encouragement and support but then I saw your post, thank God, and read about how she in error thinks we should convert to Islam. I got into Islam I was ill with demonic possession aka schitzophrenia and thought the demons whispering was still Messiah talking to me. The Quran is absolute blasphamy it says Messiah did not die on the cross but someone else took His place. There can be no place for unity between Christians and muslims because the death and ressurection of Messiah is the basic tenet of Christianity. Visionary many Muslims in the middle east and AFrica are having dreams and visions of Messiah and leaving Islam and facing severe persecution. Please wake up repent and turn back to Messiah truly. Some of your posts were really good, maybe the stress just got to you I don;t know but I will pray for you. Shalom to you too.
