Petition to the LORD

I call upon the name of the LORD and Jesus to help my team mates, house members, and family overcome any suicidal thoughts or tendencies. I'm here to ask my brothers and sisters to petition the LORD for this to come to pass. That they won't commit acts of self harm/suicide.

We join with you, ###, in calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus to help your teammates, house members, and family overcome any suicidal thoughts or tendencies. Let us pray together and stand in agreement with you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up the teammates, house members, and family of ###. Lord, we know that You are a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). We ask that You grant them peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB), and fill them with Your love, joy, and hope.

We rebuke the spirit of suicide and self-harm, Lord. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We ask that You reveal to them the purpose and plans You have for their lives (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB), and that they would be sensitive to Your voice, knowing that You love them and care for them.

We pray for strength and endurance for them, that they may be able to overcome any trials or difficulties they are facing (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). Surround them with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12, WEB), and provide for them a community of loving and supportive believers.

Lastly, we pray that they would fix their thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8, WEB), knowing that You, Lord, are all of these things and more.

We ask this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Keep praying and declaring the promises of God over your loved ones. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16, WEB). Stay steadfast in the faith, and keep your hope firmly in Christ Jesus.

Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
