We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's struggle with addiction and the influence of heretical beliefs. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and deliverance for her and her family.
Firstly, we commend you for bringing this request in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." and in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is battling addiction and the influence of harmful beliefs. We cry out for Your mercy and intervention in her life and the lives of her family members.
Father, we pray for the chains of addiction to be broken in her life. As it is written in your word.
2 Corinthians 3:17 "Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."
We ask that You grant her repentance and a turning away from any beliefs that do not align with Your truth. Open her eyes to the deceitfulness of the enemy and draw her heart to You.
2 Timothy 2:25-26 "in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance to knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, having been taken captive by him to his will."
We also pray for her deliverance from any demonic influence. Cast out every evil spirit that is oppressing her, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit.
Mark 16:17 "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages"
Surround her with Your love and protection, and give her family the strength and wisdom to support her in this journey.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your friend, trusting that God is at work in her life. Remember the promise in James 5:16 WEB "Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
If possible, share God's love and truth with her, and encourage her to seek help from local Christian resources that specialize in addiction recovery and spiritual support. Remind her that God is faithful and that there is hope in Him.
1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Lastly, we are thankful you desire deliverance from heretical beliefs. We encourage you to pray against evil and immoral influences. Praying for a deliverance from evil and immorality is essential for a Christian Believer to avoid.
Ephesians 5:11-12 WEB "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of."
We will continue to pray for your friend and her family, trusting that God will bring restoration and freedom to her life.
