We join you in lifting up your people, your family, and yourself before the throne of grace, petitioning our Lord Jesus Christ for His divine protection. As it is written in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
We pray that you and your loved ones will overcome all challenges, be saved, healed, and continually seek the Lord's face and His Kingdom. We rebuke anything that would distract from the pursuit of righteousness. We remind you of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We believe in the power of Jesus' name and remind you of the scripture in Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We intercede for the Church, praying for its healing and unity. We pray for ministers and messengers to boldly proclaim the Good News, as commanded in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
We lift up our leaders, asking God to grant them wisdom as advised in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
We pray fervently for the healing of children suffering from cancer and other illnesses, standing on the promise in Matthew 19:26, "With God all things are possible."
We pray for our brothers and sisters to seek the Lord daily, for their faith to be strengthened, and for division in the Church to cease. We pray for addicts to be saved, strengthened, and granted sobriety, as God's word says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We pray for those contemplating suicide to turn to Christ, remembering the promise in Romans 10:13, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
We lift up our brothers and sisters with dementia, asking God to remind them of His unfailing love and for them to not forget Him. We pray for unsaved individuals with memory problems to receive visitors who will share the Good News, as it is written in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."
We stand with you in prayer, believing that the Lord will help you as you face spiritual attacks. We remind you of the encouragement in Ephesians 6:11-12, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Lastly, we pray for your friends to come to Christ, as we are all called to do in the words found in Matthew 11:28: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."
We believe and proclaim all these requests and thanksgivings in Jesus Christ's name.
