We join you in lifting up your petitions to the Lord, trusting in the power of prayer and the name of Jesus Christ. We are reminded in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved family and all their concerns. We pray for Your divine protection over them, their family, and their people. May You shield them from harm and guide them in Your perfect will.
Father, we ask for healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We pray that You would mend their brokenness and restore their souls. We also pray for their salvation, that each member of their family would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. As Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Lord, we lift up the individuals they mentioned, that You would perform healing miracles in their lives. May they and their families be saved and seek Your face daily. We pray for the church, that it would be healed and that our brothers and sisters in Christ would seek Your face daily, with their faith strengthened.
Father, we intercede for our persecuted brothers and sisters, asking for strength and courage for them. We pray for our leaders, that You would grant them wisdom to guide Your people.
Lord, we lift up the wife and mother of this family, asking for strength, patience, and wisdom as she raises their children. May she and their sons be saved and seek Your face daily. We ask that You guide the husband and father to also seek Your face daily, being the spiritual leader needed in the family. The children need to see and learn the love of Jesus from their father. This is the will of God. The Bible speaks against those who do not provide for their family, and this provision includes fulfilling the spiritual needs of the family. Colossians 3:21 WEB, "Fathers, don't provoke your children, so they won't be discouraged." Discouragement leads to rebellion, and this is the last thing God desires for the children of Christian Believers.
Father, we pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage this family to continue seeking the Lord daily, trusting in His promises. As 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB says, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
We admonish this family to include the actual name of Jesus Christ when making requests to God. We have access to God only through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. We mention this because many prayer requests do not mention him. We are concerned for the salvation of those making requests. If they believe in Jesus Christ then they should be saying so. This confirms their faith and belief in Jesus Christ. If they do not then they need to be saved so they can be saved from hell and the lake of fire.
The most important thing anyone can do for another person is to ask them if they have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and secondly to pray for them.
