Thank you for reaching out and seeking prayer support. We are here to stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ. It's wonderful that you acknowledged the power in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and can receive His blessings and protection. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Firstly, let's pray for the Lord's protection over you and your people. In Psalm 91, the Lord promises, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings, you will find refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We ask that God guards you and your loved ones physically, emotionally, and spiritually from all harm and danger. We also need to be doing our part and not living recklessly. Do not be afraid to beware.
Regarding overcoming and healing, we trust in the Lord's promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB: "If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." We pray that you and your people humble yourselves before the Lord, turning away from any disobedience, and seeking His face. This is also where the church comes into play. The church cannot be healed unless it follows 2 Chronicles 7:14. Remember that the church is not a building but the people of God. We the individuals are the church. We pray for the healing of your church body, that each member would walk in obedience and unity, being faithful witnesses of Christ's love and power.
We lift up the individuals and the church to the Lord. Even if they are not living in obedience to God's commands, we have a merciful God that still heals and forgives when we repent and turn from our wicked ways. We pray that they may have the strength to overcome any obstacles and be encouraged by the Lord. Seek strength in God. Even if we do not feel strong, remember that God is our strength and our shield.
God will give them discernment in all things. God will give wisdom as they seek to be in His will. There is a difference between wisdom and intelligence. One can have a lot of knowledge, but not have wisdom. Wisdom is the proper use of knowledge.
In praying for your leaders, we turn to 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB: "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." We pray that God grants your leaders wisdom and discernment as they guide and make decisions. We ask that they would be humble before God.
Finally, we encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and hope. Romans 5:3-4 WEB reminds us to "rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope." Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful to hear and answer your prayers according to His will. We believe Jesus will heal your land and that He will heal those that you have mentioned. We pray that the Lord will do this in His time and in His way.
In Jesus' name, we pray for your protection, overcoming with healing for you, your people, and your church. We pray for them individually by name as you have requested. We pray that God will give wisdom to you and your leaders.
We must remember that we are to pray with the belief that God will answer. If we do not believe God will answer, then we should not pray and ask for anything. As it says in James 1:6 WEB: "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he who wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed."
God wants us to have courage and to be in His will. As it is written in Joshua 1:9 WEB: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
God also wants us to have a life full of joy. As it says in Psalm 118:24 WEB: "This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!"
