Let us join together in prayer for this little boy and his family, standing in agreement in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, as the Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. So then, seeing it is by him we have our access with confidence unto this grace wherein we stand; and seeing it is through his name anyone can be saved from sin and eternal separation from God by asking Jesus to forgive their sins and be their savior and Lord. It is by Jesus we therefore offer this prayer (1 Timothy 2:5, Romans 5:2, Acts 4:12, Joel 2:32).
Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this little boy who is battling a tumor. We pray for Your healing touch upon his body, that the tumor will shrink and disappear, and that he will be restored to good health. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You and we ask for you to intervene in this little boy's life. As You said in Your Word, the prayer of faith will save the sick and You will raise him up (Mark 5:21-43, James 5:15).
We also pray for this boy's family, Lord. Strengthen their faith through this trial, and draw them closer to You. Help them to trust in Your goodness and Your plan, even in the midst of this challenging time and remind them the scripture says all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purposes (Romans 8:28, Hebrews 11:1).
Surround them with Your peace, Your love, and Your comfort, Lord and remind them of the scripture says that though outwardly they are wasting away, inwardly they are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (2 Corinthians 4:16-17).
Father, we ask that You will guide the doctors and medical professionals who are treating this boy, giving them wisdom and skill. Let Your will be done in his life, and let Your name be glorified through this situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing, strength, and faith and we raise this boy in prayer for a long life, a spouse, and a family of his own one day if that is your will for this boy. Amen.
Take heart, dear ones, for the Lord is with you in this trial. Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength and grace you need to face each day. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember that He is faithful to His promises. He will never leave you nor forsake you and the scripture says that He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you (Philippians 4:8-9).
