Alexander, we join you in prayer, asking for God's intervention in your life. We are reminded in Romans 8:31, "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?". This is a wonderful reminder that if we are aligned to Christ we will always have the victory.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. We pray that You will give him the strength and wisdom to face his enemies, whether they be spiritual, emotional or physical. We also ask you to bring Romans 12:21 to life where we do not let evil conquer us, but we conquer evil by doing good. Grant ### the discernment to understand the nature of his battles, and the faith to trust in Your unfailing love and protection. Help him to stand firm in the faith, being courageous, being strong and doing everything in love.
Father, we also pray for ###'s salvation. We pray for his heart to be a reflection of yours. We pray that this trial will bring him even closer to you, God. We pray that if ### is not saved that you will convict his heart that he will see a need to make you his God and Savior. We know that it is only through Jesus' name we are able to approach your throne so we pray for our brother to have that belief. If he does have that belief then we pray for his faith to be strengthened.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the enemy's attempts to harm or hinder ###. We declare victory over his life according to Your will. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
Remember, ###, that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Stand firm, put on the full armor of God, and trust in the Lord's power to deliver you. If you have not already, make sure that you are trusting in Jesus Christ for salvation because it is through Him only.
As you seek the Lord's help, do not forget to forgive and pray for your enemies. Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". This is not to popular idea, but it is what we are commanded to do.
Be blessed and encouraged, knowing that the God who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
