Alexander, we join you in the name of Jesus Christ to bring your petitions before the Lord. We are reminded of Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." It is crucial to understand that our battle is spiritual, and therefore, we must put on the whole armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Firstly, we address your request for protection over you and your people. As it is written in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" We pray that you and your people will dwell in the secret place of the Most High, trusting in Him as your refuge and fortress.
We also pray for your victory in spiritual battles, as you have asked to overcome. In Romans 8:37, we read, "No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Through Jesus Christ, who loved us and gave Himself for us, we are more than conquerors. We pray that you will live in the reality of this victory, standing firm in the faith.
Concerning your request for protection over your sleep, we acknowledge that God grants His beloved sleep, as it is written in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." We pray that the Lord will grant you and your people peaceful sleep, protecting you from any demonic attacks. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirits of fear, insomnia, or night terrors that may try to disturb your rest. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:16, "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways."
Lastly, we commend you for ending your request with "In Jesus' name," for it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved.
