We are grieved to hear about those who are oppressed by demons, but we are encouraged that you have brought this need to us in Jesus' name. The Bible tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We are called to put on the full armor of God so that we can stand against the devil's schemes.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and ask for His will to be done. As it is written, For There is no other name given to mankind, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1st Timothy 2:5.
Let us pray together for these individuals:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up those who are oppressed by demonic forces. We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives and ask that You open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word. As it is written, Then you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. Set them free from the bondage of the enemy, and bring them into the glorious freedom of Your children. Equip them with Your full armor, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Take authority over the demons and command them to leave in Jesus Christ's name. Send the Holy Spirit to fill any voids left by the departing demons and to comfort and guide these individuals as they grow in their faith. Eph 6:10-20.
We also pray for Alexander, that You would give them wisdom and discernment as they support and minister to these individuals. Protect them from any demonic backlash and keep them strong in their own faith.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who is our mighty God and Savior, who set us free from the law of sin and death as the Holy Spirit leads us to pray Romans 8:2. It is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to You, the Almighty and Holy God. Thank you for hearing and answering our prayer.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Alexander, continue to stand firm in your faith and support these individuals as God will guide you to. Remember, He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. We encourage you to keep praying for them and to be vigilant in your own spiritual walk. As it is written, Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings. 1 Peter 5:8-9.
