Alexander, We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding on your behalf. We are reminded of Psalm 121:3-4, "He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Alexander and his people. We claim Your promise in Psalm 91 that You will command Your angels concerning them, to guard them in all their ways, to keep them safe from all harm and danger. We ask for Your protection over their rest tonight, that You would grant them peace and security.
Lord, we also pray that You would help Alexander and his people to overcome any challenges they may be facing. We know that in this world we will have trouble, but we take heart, for You have overcome the world. We claim victory in Jesus' name, trusting that You are working all things together for their good.
Father, we ask that You would draw Alexander and his people closer to You during this time. That they would know Your love, Your protection, and Your peace. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Remember, Alexander, the battle is the Lord's, and He is faithful to deliver His people. Stand firm in your faith, and trust in His promises. As it is written in Romans 8:37, "No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
In addition and based on your submission, let us encourage you to always be assured of the power of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As Peter boldly proclaimed on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2:38, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." There is power in that name. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to this. This is the only way to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
It is by the power of the risen Jesus Christ that we are saved as stated in Acts 4:11-12, "This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
If you believe in Jesus Christ, you are saved. This is the assurance of salvation and that your prayers are heard. If you never believed in Jesus Christ and trust in his atonement and resurrection, we call you to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. You are saved by faith alone through Jesus Christ alone. Faith is a surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is trust in the person and work of Jesus Christ on the cross for his payment of our sins which separated us from God. It is by the crucifixion of Jesus Christ that there is payment of our sins. It is by the resurrection from the dead that it is proven Jesus Christ has conquered death, hell, and the grave by a demonstration of power.
In the case where there is not belief in Jesus Christ and his resurrection from the dead, there is no salvation and therefore there is no access to the Father in prayer. John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Therefore, it is the only way of salvation.
You referred to the Lord but have never talked about Jesus. It might be that you referred to the God of the bible or Jesus and possibly does not understand the necessity of Jesus Christ. Therefore make sure to clearly refer to Jesus. If you have no assurance of salvation. Believe in Jesus Christ now. Then pray as your result of your salvation individually and with us in Jesus Christ name, Amen!
