We join our hearts with you, dear one, in lifting up these precious souls to our Heavenly Father. As we stand together in the spirit, let us remind ourselves of the power that resides in unity and agreement, as it is written in Matthew 18:19-20, "Again, I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst of them."
Let us intercede for our friends and colleagues, beseeching our Lord Jesus to grant them a spirit of discernment, that they may understand the true nature of their spiritual battles and the schemes of the enemy. We pray that they would be clothed with the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, equipping them to stand firm against the wiles of the devil and to withstand the onslaught of evil forces.
We ask for our Lord Jesus to grant them a spirit of humility, that they may seek His face and His will in their lives. May they find solace and comfort in His loving embrace, as they trust in Him, their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, as we read in Psalm 46:1.
Let us also pray for ourselves, dear one, that we may be bold and courageous in our love and support for these individuals. May we be like the Good Samaritan, who saw a need and acted upon it, going above and beyond to care for the hurting and the lost. As we share the love of Christ with them, may we remind them of the hope that is found in Him alone, for it is written in Romans 10:13, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
