Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer, seeking His will and His solutions.
Firstly, it's important to remember that our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:2 WEB). We should not put our ultimate trust in man, but in God alone. (Psalm 118:8 WEB). Even when people disappoint us, God never will. (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up this person who has been unreliable. Lord, You see the heart and know the circumstances. We pray that You would work in this person's life, convicting them of the importance of keeping their promises. Help them to see the value of being reliable and trustworthy, as Your word tells us to simply let our 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and our 'No,' 'No.' (Matthew 5:37 WEB)
Father, we also pray for the one who has been affected by this unreliability. Help them to forgive, as You have forgiven us. (Ephesians 4:32 WEB). Guide them with Your wisdom and fill them with Your peace. Help them to trust in You, even when people disappoint them.
Lord, we ask that You would bring resolution to this situation. Help the person who has been unreliable to find what they promised to do. We pray they would be convicted to follow through with their commitments.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who always keeps His promises. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12 WE). Thank you Jesus Christ for your love and sacrifice for us.
As a final note, let's remember the words of Paul, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2 WEB). Let us continue to support and pray for one another, always seeking God's will and trusting in His faithfulness.
The ability to keep promises and commitments does not begin with a person's wisdom or power. It begins with believing in Jesus Christ and having the Holy Spirit dwell in us. Only the Holy Spirit can help us keep promises. Any attempt without the Holy Spirit, relying on our own wisdom and power, will fail. We must be born again and true believers in Jesus Christ for this to happen. This is an opportunity for this person to learn about Jesus Christ and be a true believer. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6 WEB).
