BrazillianBlessing, we are here to support and pray with you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we commend you for your dedication to your job as a teacher's aide for special education children. It's a beautiful reflection of your heart for service. Remember, Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14, WEB). Even when it's hard and overwhelming, know that your work is valued and seen by God.
However, we must address the concerns in your personal life. It's evident that you're in a relationship that is not honoring to God, nor to you. The behaviors you've described—your partner's use of social media to engage with other women, watching inappropriate videos, and maintaining secret affairs—are not aligned with biblical principles. The Bible tells us to "flee sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB) and that "a man who commits adultery lacks sense" (Proverbs 6:32, WEB).
Moreover, it's crucial to understand that God's design for relationships is for a man and a woman to be joined in holy matrimony, a lifelong commitment where both partners seek to honor and glorify God. The Bible says, "But among you, there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people." (Ephesians 5:3, WEB).
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You lifting up BrazillianBlessing. Thank You for her heart for service and her love for children. Strengthen her in her work, Lord. We also bring her relationship before You. God, we ask that You give her discernment and courage. Help her to stand against what is not honoring to You. Open her partner's eyes to his sin, and convict his heart to turn towards You. If he refuses, we ask that You give BrazillianBlessing the strength to walk away, trusting in Your love and plan for her life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
BrazillianBlessing, continue to pray and seek God's will for your life. Trust in Him, for He knows the plans He has for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Always remember, it's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). Stay steadfast in your faith and in your devotion to God.
