We are truly sorrowful to hear about the critical condition of the person you love most. Let's rebuke hopelessness because our Lord Jesus assures us that He has conquered the world. It will not consume us! Praise be to Jesus our Savior. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." We pray you will have such peace during this traumatic event.
Remember, in Jesus there is hope. We rejoice because we know that in heaven there will be no tears, death, pain or sorrow (Romans 21). Yet, we do not give up easily on life.
There is power in the name of Jesus. We have access to God only because of the sacrifice of Jesus, and through Him, God will act. God does listen to every tear, every cry for the pain of His children. Only through His son, will we ever be able to stand in the gap or request anything of God. Also, as we go about praying in the name of Jesus we must mention why that is important. This seems like a good chance. Only by believing in Him for his salvation can a child of God have access to heaven. Otherwise, a God-hater will join others that hate God in Hell with Satan. Let this be the day for whom has not believed in Jesus that they come to faith! Jesus offers eternal hope both on earth and in heaven with Him for those that follow Him!
To believe in Jesus the foundation is to understand everyone are sinners and have sinned. Also, to truly understand no one measures up to the glory of Jesus and God. Thankfully, Jesus as God Himself paid the price for us all. He died and bore the sin of everyone else so each person is righteous before God. Therefore, each one can then not only enter heaven, but be able to pray in His name while on earth! Thank God for Jesus who paid the price of for us all by dying on the cross to be the penalty for our sin! Anyone who believes this and believes Jesus has made them righteous before God has been forgiven of their sin and will live eternally in heaven!
To receive any request of the Lord, Jesus mentions first praying according to His will in 1 John 5. In that section it is obvious that the requests made that will be heard are those of Christians believing in Jesus as their Savior and prays in the name of Jesus. I am sure God will hear the requests, if you as a Christian and also stand in the gap for the woman's possible need for salvation.
If any Christian prays to God in the name of Jesus, they will receive what is requested and it is made evident to them, then they have heard God. Also, it is made evident to any Christian praying in the name of Jesus they have eternal life. Therefore, if the person you love so much is a Christian, then you can be assured they will live eternally with Jesus in heaven. If not, it is time for them to join the salvation of Jesus Christ to be spared from the fires of Hell.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Father, We, lift up the person dearest to the heart of our fellow Christian. We ask, Lord, that You comfort their heart and take away any fear. If any more can be done, let them be given the strength and know Your will in Jesus' name, Lord, we ask that Your healing touch rests upon them. If it is their time to go home, we ask that they go peacefully, with no fear, and are fully aware of what Jesus has done for their salvation to be in heaven. By Jesus’ stripes, we are healed. So we ask in faith for divine healing. Jesus, at the cross You said, 'It is finished,' for the sake of this person that they will be able to dwell in heaven. Lord, we stand in the gap. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen."
In addition, while praying we need to remember and remind anyone that only in the name of Jesus are we to pray. We cannot come to God with prayer in any other way. We know salvation is only available by believing in Jesus Christ.
Since the person in danger is a female we need to stand for the sanctity of marriage. Who knows if she may make it out of this, or if she knows Jesus as her Savior, but if she does God may very well allow her to get married and have a family in His will.
