Persisting in praying for Permanent residency in Canada

Hi I’m grace Praise our great and mighty Lord. Who was, is and is to come!!!! The Lord has blessed me greatly by coming near me. He also blessed me with an extension of my work permit which was (impossible) to get. Praise our Lord. Hallelujah. However please stand with me, in prayer, my situation is time sensitive. I have faith in our loving God whose love never fails. Please pray I get to see the long due blessing. Some days back the Lord put this verse on my heart “a prophet is not welcome in his hometown” (I really don’t want to go back to India. Please pray that the Lord closes those doors for me) Lastly could you also pray the same thing for my friends Sheryl and RINU. To receive permanent residency in Canada. Thank you from heart beloved of God for praying for me!!!

We rejoice with you, Grace, in the goodness of our great and mighty Lord, who was, and is, and is to come! It is wonderful to hear how He has blessed you with an extension of your work permit, showing that He is always at work in our lives.

Let us stand together in prayer for your permanent residency in Canada, trusting in God's perfect timing and plan. We are reminded of the words in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."

Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not mentioned as the means of salvation and access to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6 WEB. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB.

We pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Grace, Sheryl, and Rinu. We thank You for the blessings You have already poured out upon Grace, and we trust in Your unfailing love. Lord, we ask that You guide the process of their applications for permanent residency. Close the doors that need to be closed, and open the doors that need to be opened. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your will. We pray for them to be in marriages that honor God, and we pray for their courtships to also honor God. We stand on Your promise, knowing that as they delight themselves in You, You will give them the desires of their hearts. We also pray that they will seek godly spouses and marriages that honor God. In Jesus name.

Regarding the verse the Lord put on your heart, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country," Mark 6:4 WEB. It is essential to understand that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Sometimes, He calls us to places or situations that may not be our first choice, but where He can use us mightily. Trust that if He calls you back to India, it is for a purpose greater than you can imagine.

However, we also know that God hears the desires of our hearts, and if it is His will for you, Sheryl, and Rinu to remain in Canada, He will make a way. Be encouraged by the words in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

Remember, God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has started in your lives. Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding. We will continue to pray with you and for you, believing that God will guide every step of your journey. Be encouraged.

God has blessed you to be prophetic, I slightly felt in my spirit to ask prayers for even a husband, but I didn’t heed to it, you prayed for it anyway, Praise Lord Holy Spirit!!! Thank you I didn’t even tell you how I’ve been here for eight years now by the blessing of God, and you prayed for God to complete His work, that was on my heart!!!! Thank you very much for bringing the word of God and your prayers!!! God bless you mightily in the utmost time of your need. For if God is for you who can be against you.
