Sometimes the faith of the people we pray with can be so moving. The story of A Dhon and his wife Y Mae is one of these times. We previously had the chance to pray for A Dhon, Y Mae and their two sons in Vietnam, who are under heavy oppression for their faith. Their situation has gotten even worse - and they need our continued prayer support as they've lost everything they had.
This dear family came to faith in Jesus in 2020. Since that time, local authorities and other villagers have pressured them to renounce their faith, and they have refused. Y Mae was fired from her job, the children were expelled from school and A Dhon was beaten.
In April, the family was expelled from the village and their livestock was confiscated by their community. They had nothing but the clothes on their back when they left - and moved 250 miles away. A local church has been helping them rent a house and find jobs.
Open Doors partners have come alongside the family, helping them with their practical needs since last year. Due to COVID-19 concerns, our partners have yet to be able to visit them in their new community, but will do so as soon as possible.
Please pray for continued faith, and God.s protection and vital provision for the family's daily needs (Matthew 6:11)
Ask God to make it possible for the two children to be able to go to school in their new community.
Pray that A Dhon and Y Mae can find stable jobs to support their family, despite this upheaval.
Pray for blessing and encouragement to those who reach out to the family with help and faith.
Thanks so much for praying, God bless. Information from Open Doors USA text alert.
