Friends, please continue to pray for our family in India as the numbers of covid 19 cases and deaths increase throughout the country. Just today there were 386,452 new cases and deaths rose by 3,498. An Open Doors local partner shares "There is a lack of beds and oxygen cylinders in the hospitals. People are suffering tremendously. Many Open Doors local partners and their families have been affected, and some have died. Please pray for their healing, and for comfort for the families of those who have passed away.
"Please pray for our partners who are still well as they continue to serve persecuted believers in this challenging time - there is still an urgent need for food aid for Christians who are being overlooked during lockdowns. Pray for protection for our partners as they serve. We expect more relief distribution will be needed because of the worsening pandemic, and also the need for income generation progams will be needed because of the worsening pandemic, and also the need for income generation programs will rise as businesses are affected.
"Pray for Christian organisations in India, where many staff members are suffering from Covid 19. Many pastors are also unwell. Pray for their healing, and that they will soon be able to return to their work serving the Lord.
"Migrants in some states are being denied medical aid because they cannot provide proof that they live in the state, which is affecting many Christians. Pray the believers will get the help they need. "
