The political situation is rapidly changing in Afghanistan, particularly with the announcement that U.S. troops are being withdrawn. Because of this, the Taliban are again on the move, and many observers fear the extremist group will soon take over control of the country.
Women and children are partiularly vunerable in Afghanistan right now, as a civil war seems imminent. Many families are either fleeing or considering doing so - leaving behind everything they own simply to escape. Children are lured into betraying their parents and exposing their faith, with tragic consequences.
