Today, we have a special treat for you from the field! 58-year-old Lina Sarko, a mother of two daughters, participated in our women's ministry training in Syria. She is actively involved in an evangelical church where she uses her training to disciple and minister to women.
We invite you to join in prayer with Lina, who wrote this for you to share as the One Body of Christ.
We thank You, O Lord Almighty, for Your gracious hands. We glorify Your Name from now til forever, for You have come to save us and die for us on the cross. You turned the curse into blessing and the weakness into strength.
We come before You with confidence as children come before their father, asking You to heal our land, Syria, asking You to send the Spirit of Life and the Spirit of Your Resurrection to our country. You are able, and there is nothing You can't do. We ask for Your Mercy upon the people who have gone astray. Lead Syrians towards You God, and help us to be an example of Your Love.
O Lord, stretch Your Hands and stop the bleeding of the country, all the instability in the north-east and the military action in Idlib and its surburbs. Please God clean our lands from terrorists and blood thirsty troops who are still persecuting Christians in those areas.
We pray for a change in economy, after years of currency collapse and poverty for most of the people. We ask You to change this situation and stop this crisis.
O Lord, we lift the youth before You, knowing that they are the most affected and endangered generation. Because of military recruitment, financial scarcity, unknown futures and the temptation to emigrate, they feel lost. We pray that You meet them where they are and guide them towards Your amazing plans for their lives. Let them know You and trust that their future is secure when You are with them.
We ask you this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, to Whom is all the glory, knowing that You hear and answer our prayers. Amen.
Thanks so much brethren for joining in this beautiful prayer from this brave humble sister of ours. Prayer taken from Open Doors USA text alert. More details available online. Yah bless you all in this world and the world to shortly come.
