"Whenever I open my eyes in the morning, I feel the presence of our Father." - Bae a Christian in North Korea.
It's rare when we get a message from a North Korean believer. Right now, as you read this, Bae is suffering for her faith in North Korea.
She and her husband were exiled to a remote area in North Korea when their Bible was discovered and immediately burned. Now they are doing hard labor in barren fields where they must meet stringent quotas everyday.
And yet as she fights to survive her life sentence, Bae is also carrying the gospel forward. She's risking her life to secretly disciple her housemates.
A couple years ago, Bae managed to escape into China and made contact with an Open Doors safe house where she received a new Bible, food and medicine to take back to her tiny church.
"The thing I give thanks for the most is that Father God uses me to work as His servant," Bae writes in her letter. "I desire to dedicate my life, unto death, to glorify Him."
Please pray today for Bae and believers inside North Korea.
Pray for Bae and her husband and the tiny church they're leading. Ask God to ease their hunger pangs and draw them close to Him.
Pray for Open Doors partners who are risking their lives to run Christian safe houses in China.
Pray for what God is doing in these safe houses. North Korean refugees are meeting Jesus for the first time and , like Bae, being strengthened to bring the gospel back to their family and friends in North Korea.
Thanks so much for praying, Elohim bless you. Taken from Open Doors USA text alert.
