Friends, meet and pray for Rani in Nepal today. She took the risky step of leaving Hinduism when she saw the strong faith of a local Christian couple suffering with leprosy. Seeing their trust in God ignited a spark.
Though Rani was the only believer in her family she felt no pressure from them to reconvert to Hinduism. She met and married a believer. But his family were far less tolerant. Under constant pressure to reconvert , the couple had to leave the house. Now they live in a rented room.
Rani's husband has a small rickshaw business, but the pandemic cut into his work, leaving them without regular income. Still, their faith in Jesus gave them hope.
Rani loves the promise of Hebrew 13.5 - Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you. "God is not unfair to His people," she says. He never left us even in our difficult times. During the pandemic, we had a very difficult time. Our family didn't help us. We prayed every day, and God proivided for our needs."
Please pray with Rani and her family as they continue to walk in faith.
Pray that their example will be the spark that brings others to Christ.
Rani asks that you pray for her son's education. With the uncertain economic situation and the prejudice against believers in nepal, she worries he will not have what he needs to continue school.
Pray for Rani's health. She suffers from chronic stomach aches and asks the Lord to heal her and keep her active.
Thanks so much for praying, God bless. Taken from Open Doors USA text alert
