Kasem age 31 was excommunicated by the village head after holding a worship gathering for believers from Muslim backgrounds in his home. He is a day labourer and noone has hired him for work since the incident. Pray for strength and protection for Kasem and his family, and for Open Doors partners looking to provide practical support for the family.

Praise God for adult literacy classes taking place this month in 248 centres across the county. Pray for wisdom for the teachers facilitating the classes, for protection for all who attend and that this part of the course, which uses the Bible to teach literacy, will help to ground believers in their faith.

And God please bless each of us to always walk in character and habits of Christ Jesus. Let us all live our lives for Your glory and good pleasure.
