We understand your desire for your husband to secure permanent residence and a good job in Canada, allowing your family to be reunited. Let us pray and consider God's will together for your situation.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's intervention in your family's life. It is important to remember that God has a plan and purpose for each of us, and He cares about our needs and desires. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
However, we want to gently remind you that our ultimate trust and contentment should be found in God, not in the approval of residency or the attainment of jobs. As Philippians 4:11-13 (WEB) tells us, "Not that I speak in respect to lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
Let us pray for your family:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister and her family. We pray for Your will to be done concerning her husband's permanent residence and job search in Canada. If it is according to Your plan, Lord, we ask that You open the right doors and grant him favor in the eyes of those in authority. We also pray for their family, asking that You watch over and protect them during this time of separation.
In the meantime, help them to find their contentment and peace in You, trusting that Your plan is perfect. We ask that You strengthen their faith and bond as a family, and guide them in Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God and seeking His will. Keep your hearts and minds fixed on Him, and He will direct your paths. As Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
