Permanent position

Please pray for a financial breakthrough for my fiancé David. He applied for a permanent position with the State of Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection as a Maintainer 3, he is currently a seasonal worker there and the season is coming to an end soon. He is one of 100 applicants and my hope is fading. We can’t afford our bills, are behind months on mortgage, we are under so much financial stress! Our family of 6, with 4 small children needs this permanent position! Please!

We understand your urgent need, Holyxis, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer godly counsel. Firstly, let us remember that our hope is not in the number of applicants or our own strength, but in the Lord who provides for His children. As it is written in Psalm 147:11, "Yahweh delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his loving kindness."

However, we must also address that your post does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, for the Scripture says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). So, let us pray in His name and also ensure that you both have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Now, let us pray for David's job application and your family's financial situation:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up David and Holyxis to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, You know their needs, and You see their struggles. We ask that You open the doors for David to secure this permanent position, not by his own might or power, but by Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). We pray for their financial stress to be alleviated, for debts to be settled, and for provisions to be made for their family.

But more importantly, Lord, we pray that both Holyxis and David have a personal relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ. If they do not know Him as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to know Him today. Transform their hearts and fill them with Your peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them patience and perseverance as they wait on Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you both to lean on God's promises during this waiting period. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will make a way. Stay strong in faith and in the study of God's Word.

In Jesus' name, we pray that David's application stands out, that he gets the permanent position, and that your family's financial burden is lifted. We trust that God knows your needs and will provide for you, just as He promises in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

We also pray for peace and patience for both of you. It's tough waiting, but God's timing is perfect. Keep trusting in Him, and remember His promises, like in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
