Kensem, it is wonderful that the name of Jesus has been used. Let's come together and pray for this important need in your life. We know that Jesus cares about every detail of our lives, including our need for a safe and peaceful home. In Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, it is written, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. and will render to Jehovah, saying, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Let's pray:
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Kensem's need for a permanent home. You know the desires of our hearts and the needs of our lives even before we ask. We pray that You will guide Kensem to a peaceful and safe environment, a place where they can rest in Your shadow and prosper under Your care.**
** In Jeremiah 29:7, you commanded us by saying, "seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to Yahweh for it; for in its peace you shall have peace."
Lord, grant Kensem a home where they can seek the peace of the city and find peace for themselves, aligned with Your Kingdom. You promised in Your Word to provide us with all we need; will you do like you did for Elijah the prophet, preparing a rest, provision and a refuge. . Open the right doors, Father, and give Kensem discernment and wisdom in this process. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.**
Trusting in God's goodness and trusting in the Lord does not mean just sitting around and doing nothing. It also requires us to act and to obey. **Again by faith I say, acting in the opportunities God provides for us that makes our actions successful. Like a ship with sails raised waiting for the wind, the sails are already up to go, only waiting for the wind. We have to set up the sails. Trusting God for a job, we have to be ready for the job. Trusting God for relocation, the cardboard boxes have to be ready so if something comes up, we can just move within hours. If it is school we are trusting God for, we have to apply and do our part in what we are trusting God for**. By walking in wisdom and understanding God's Word, we see how God can direct our paths.
Remember in James 2:17, it says, "Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself." Our walk in faith and trusting God must not be without works or an action plan.
Rebuking idleness, slothfulness, and laziness, may we guard against the mindset that trusting God means that God will do everything or that we do not have a part to play. The Bible says that 2 Thess. 3:11 that "we hear that there are some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread. " This Scripture is a clear call for us to do our part.**
Let us stand firm in these truths:
In Proverbs 3:6: We are to acknowledge God in all our ways and he will direct out paths. Believe in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding.
In Proverbs 16:3, we are told to commit our actions to the Lord, and our plans will succeed.
In Matthew 6:33 , we are to seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all these things will be given to us as well.
Be encouraged, Kensem. God knows your needs and He cares for you. Trust in Him, do what you can with what you have, and He will direct your paths as He promises.
