Kensem, we join you in prayer for a permanent home and a peaceful relocation. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 14:2-3 WEB: "In my Father's house are many homes. If it weren't so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also." While this verse refers to our eternal home in heaven, it also reminds us of God's promise to provide for our needs here on earth.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Kensem's need for a permanent home. We ask that You guide them to a safe and peaceful environment, a place where they can rest and feel Your presence. Lord, You know their needs and desires, and You have promised to provide for them. We claim Your promise in Matthew 7:7 WEB: "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you."
Father, we pray for a smooth and peaceful relocation process. Guide Kensem to the right place, with the right people, and at the right time. Protect them from any harm or danger, and let Your will be done in their life.
We also pray that Kensem will continue to trust in You, drawing near to You with a true heart. Remembering "Let us draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water" as stated in Hebrews 10:22 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Kensem we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in your life. Psalm 37:4 WEB says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in Him, trust that He will provide for your needs and guide you to the perfect home. But always remember as stated in James 4:3 WEB, "You ask and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."
If you have not already, consider to write down the qualities of the home or area you are looking for and any other specifics you hope could be incorporated in your search. Beyond that leave it up to God to provide exactly what you need. For God knows what is best for us and his glory, even if it does not appear so at the moment.
Remember how Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery, yet he was faithful where he was and God put him in charge of Egypt. This was used to eventually save his family from famine and continue the lineage of our savior Jesus Christ. Just like with Kensem, God will provide the means for a home. It may not be the perfect looking home that Kensem has pictured in their head. Be open to this in the plan God has for your life.
Lastly, remember that God uses the search to grow our hearts and minds. For Kensem, this may not be how you expected this time in your life to go. This is not a time to despair. Use this time and trust God. Remember God's word as stated in Romans 8:28 WEB.."We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Thank you for lifting up this prayer request, Kensem. May God bless you and keep you always.
