We understand your desire to be recognized for your hard work and to receive a fair performance bonus. It's important to remember that our ultimate reward comes from the Lord, and our work should first and foremost be a service to Him. As it is written in the WEB, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10), and "Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people" (Colossians 3:23).
Let's pray together for you to see God's favor in your workplace.
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus to lift up our sister/brother who has diligently worked hard this past year. Lord, You see the efforts and the time invested. We pray for God's favor in the workplace, that the eyes of the management be opened to see the fruit of her/his labor. Your word says in Proverbs 22:29, 'Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings. He won't stand before obscure men.' Lord, we ask for fairness and recognition, but most importantly, we pray for Your will to be done in Your child's life. May this situation be used to draw her/him closer to You. Help her/him to continue to be a light in the workplace, reflecting Your love and integrity. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
Remember, God is faithful and just. He sees your hard work and will reward you in His time and in His way. Trust in Him, and don't be discouraged.
We also notice that you did not mention Jesus Christ in your prayer. We want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
The basic salvation message is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31 WEB). We encourage you to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, confess your sins and commit to following Him. If you have already done this, we encourage you to continue to live for Him, trusting in His promises.
