We understand your desire for perfect health for you and your sister, and we will join you in prayer to our loving Father. Let's remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and God cares about our physical well-being. As it is written in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, even as your soul prospers."
However, we want to gently remind you that while God can bring healing and perfection, His ultimate goal is to conform us to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29). Sometimes, He allows infirmities to draw us closer to Him and to display His power in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister and her family. You know their bodies intimately, for You knit them together in their mothers' wombs. We ask that You perfect that which concerns their health, and bring healing and wholeness according to Your will.
Lord Jesus, You went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with You. We believe that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. May Your healing power be manifested in their lives.
However, Lord, if it is Your will for them to carry this thorn in the flesh, give them the grace to endure and the faith to believe that Your strength is made perfect in weakness.
We also pray that they would draw closer to You during this time, seeking You first and Your kingdom. May their souls prosper even as their bodies are made whole.
We ask all these things in Jesus' precious name, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Amen."
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty. Remember, even in times of sickness, God is working all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
