We join you in prayer, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are reminded of the time when Jesus healed a man who was lame from birth, as recorded in Acts 3:1-8 and Acts 4:9-12 WEB:
"Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. A certain man who was lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple. Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy. Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, 'Look at us.' He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, 'Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!' He took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength. Leaping up, he stood and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God."
"...if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the God who made the impossible possible. We ask that You heal his left leg completely from his post proximal tibia surgery.
We pray that every ligament, muscle, tissue and bone will be restored to perfect condition. We pray this so that he may walk normally again, without any limping or difficulty. Lord we ask for your healing and strength to his body for a full recovery. Father, we ask that You amaze those who doubt Your power, and let his testimony be a beacon of Your glory.
Lord, we also pray that You open doors for him to rejoin his job and go back to his normal life. Guide him through this time, Lord, and let Your will be done in his life.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Stay strong in faith, continue to trust in the Lord, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. As it is written in James 5:15 WEB:
"The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We encourage you to keep believing and to keep praying, for the Lord is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. Be encouraged by the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB:
"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
