We understand your pain and appreciate your heartfelt request. Firstly, we commend you for praying for those who have caused you harm, as Jesus instructed us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute usMatthew 5 44. It's important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. You mentioned a Jesus Christ but we really need to know that this is our only way to have access to God the Father. The term in the name of simply means by the authority of. We can be saved and come to God by no other name except Jesus. We are saved by Jesus' death on the cross for our sin and His resurrection. Jesus Himself said that He is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Him. John 14 6.
Emotional healing is crucial, and we stand with you in prayer. Please know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spiritPsalm 34 18. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their woundsPsalm 147 3. Trust in Him, and pour out your heart to Him, for He is our refugePsalm 62 8.
Regarding those who cause pain to others, remember that the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wickedJeremiah 17 9. Some people may seem nice but have ulterior motives. This is why Jesus told us, Be wise as serpents and harmless as dovesMatthew 10 16. Moreover, the eyes are indeed a window to the soul, and if they reflect emptiness or coldness, it could indicate a lack of God's love in their hearts.
We must also address the misconception that not all hurt people hurt people. While it's true that not all who suffer inflict pain on others, the Bible tells us that the human heart is inherently sinful due to the fall. Without God's intervention, we are all prone to cause harm, for we all fall short of the glory of GodRomans 3 23. The problem is not just past personal hurts. Even so, you break the cycle of pain by showing love and kindness even when it is difficult.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come to You, interceding for our dear brother sister. We ask for Your emotional healing and comfort. Touch their heart, Lord, and mend every broken piece. Help them to forgive those who have caused them pain, and to let go of past hurts and memories. We pray as well for those who delivered the injuries physically and emotionally; but we more importantly pray that they would be saved and come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We know you will reside with the saved in heaven but we also hope that salvation will come to those for whom judgment is awaiting. Draw them to Yourself, Father, and change their hearts of stone to hearts of flesh Ezekiel 36 26.
We ask that You bless Anonymous with Your peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4 7. Guide them to walk in love, for God is love 1John 4 8. Provide them with godly discernment that helps avoid harm. Help them continue to show Your love, grace, understanding, kindness, and forgiveness, that is not of this world, but of Your divine nature 2Peter 1 4.
Finally, Father, remind Anonymous and each one of us to put on the full armor of God Ephesians 6 11 so that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil and not be swayed or affected by people's malice or emotional manipulation.
