It's clear that you've experienced significant hurt and manipulation from others, and it's important to address these feelings. We will begin with prayer and scripture.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up this precious soul who is hurting and feeling overwhelmed by the actions of others. We pray for Your comfort and healing to envelop them. We ask that You will help them release their pain to You. We pray for Your protection over them, both physically and emotionally, and that You will guide them to a place of safety and support. Let them feel Your unfailing love for them. We pray this in Jesus name.
Now, let's look at what the Bible says about the challenges you're facing.
First, it's important to acknowledge that Jesus warns us about those who might try to deceive us for personal gain, which is what happened to you. In Matthew 24:4-5 WEB Jesus says:
"Answer: 'Be careful that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and will lead many astray.'"
In Matthew 7:15 WEB Jesus also warns:
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves."
Second, let's consider how God wants us to respond to those who hurt us. In Matthew 5:43-45 WEB Jesus says:
"You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy. But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust."
This doesn't mean that you should allow others to continue hurting you, but rather that you should seek to forgive them and not retaliate. It's also important to set boundaries to protect yourself from further harm.
Third, it's crucial to understand that not all who claim to be followers of Jesus are truly living according to His teachings. In Matthew 7:21-23 WEB Jesus says:
"Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will tell me in that day, Lord, Lord, didnt we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works? Then I will tell them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek support from a community of believers who can help you heal and grow in your faith. It's important to be discerning and to find a group that truly follows Jesus' teachings. Remember, it is only in Jesus that we can be saved. There is no other name by which we can be saved. In Acts 4:12 WEB, the Bible says:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
