Beloved of All
People keep disrespecting my day off {###} and, although I told them several times I like a break from obligations on Sundays. Day OFF means that, OFF, a break from things, unwind. By them trying to push me to do things on my day off, I feel is disrespectful. And as for those who might reply. I'm "selfish" to want a day off, it's "unChristian", let me remind them that Jesus Himself stated to the disciples, "Come let us go to a quiet place." There was also the Sabbath, where there was no work to be done. And these are not emergency situations, they're just things for their own convenience. Request is that my day off is honored as a day off, not pockmarked with calls for me to do stuff when they already know it's my day off. It's like I barely hang up the phone from one of them, 15 minutes later another thorn in my side calls.

Heavenly Father, we come to You in prayer on behalf of ###. We thank You for the gift of rest and the importance of taking a break from obligations. We ask that You would give ### the strength to stand firm in his convictions and to stand up for himself when people try to push him to do things on his day off. We pray that You would give him the courage to speak up and to remind those who might reply that Jesus Himself stated to the disciples, “Come let us go to a quiet place”. We ask that You would help ### to remember that the Sabbath was a day of rest and that it is important to take a break from obligations. We thank You for Your grace and mercy and ask that You would give ### the peace and rest he needs. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

I have prayed for you.

Call out to Jesus in your need. The son of God, Messiah! He loves you and cares for you. He can make a way!

Why don’t you see that you disrespect your day off by answering your phone and not just letting your calls go to voicemail? So many problems you think others are giving you rest in your abilities to take charge of your life in which you seem to ignore. Lord bless ### to see himself.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
