We understand that you're feeling distressed due to intrusive thoughts and it's important to address this both spiritually and practically. Firstly, we should not be afraid because God has given us a spirit of power, of love and a sound mind. He has not given us a spirit of fear. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Timothy 1:7, Ephesians 6:12). The enemy can indeed attack our minds, but we have authority over him. His thoughts have no power over us. Remember Jeremiah 29:11, When you think about what God has called you to do, and know without a doubt which decision you should make, remain in faith and move forward in Jesus' name. The enemy can not and will not have his way. All things work together for the good of those who love God and serve him. That is his promise to you in Romans 8:28, and we can trust him even when that is difficult.
He will not put more on us than we can bear and provides a way out. Remember that if God is for us, who can be against us.Remember also Romans 8:38 and 39. We are more than conquerors through him who loves us and nothing can separate us from the Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. We urge you, dear one, not to be afraid of this heaviness and do not let these thoughts invade God's temple, which is your body and mind. In Jesus, you are strong and can overcome this heavy onslaught. Remember also it is written that the King has already won the battle and is the victor over all of the principalities of the air and has won the war. Enforce his victory and take it for yourself in Jesus name.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ , we come before you, We are putting on the full armor of God, so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes and wile. We are equipped for the fight against these intruding and annoying thoughts. Just as Jesus is the good shepherd and cares for his flock we ask that you protect us and the person who has requested prayer by the power of your blood shed for us on the cross of Calvary . Let the Blood of Jesus be against every evil force and thoughts in Jesus name. We are claiming the promises in 2 Peter 1:3 and 4 in Jesus name. and also reminding ourselves about Romans 8:37, which also is mentioned above. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
We ask that you will deliver your child from these intrusive thoughts and bring peace and soundness to their mind. Give them the strength and wisdom to take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ (Corinthians 10:4). In Jesus mighty name we all pray together. Amen.
If these thoughts continue to cause distress, we also strongly advise seeking help from a medical professional, as this could be a sign of a mental health condition. Continue to pray and trust in God, and remember I Corinthians 10:13, there is no temptation or trial that comes to us, but is common to man and God will not let it be more than we can bear and he will provide the way of escape. In addition, seek out good Christian counsel and advisers. Simultaneously, be aware of Numbers 23:23 in the book of Numbers, what God permits, he has already provided for and has blessed in Jesus name.
