We join you, ###, in praying that people will be drawn to your home group to hear the Gospel and be saved. We are grateful for the open door that no one can shut, as spoken of in Revelation 3:7-8, "Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut... I know that you have a little power, and you have kept my word, and haven't denied my name."
We pray in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:13, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." We believe in the power of Jesus' name because, as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
*Father, thank You for the open door that no one can shut. We ask that You draw people to our home group, just as Jesus said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44). We pray that as we lift up Jesus, He will draw all people to Himself (John 12:32).*
*Give us the grace and wisdom to preach Jesus Christ crucified, knowing that the message of the cross is the power of God (1 Corinthians 1:24). Help us to clearly portray Jesus Christ as crucified for our sins (Galatians 3:1), and that the payment for sins is death (Romans 6:23).*
*May the Holy Spirit convict the world of righteousness, sin, and judgment to come (John 16:8), and open the eyes of their understanding to know the hope of God's calling and the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18).*
*We ask this in Jesus' name, for in Him are all the promises of God yes, and in Him, Amen (2 Corinthians 1:20).*
We encourage you to continue boldly proclaiming the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). Always remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand your ground (Ephesians 6:13).
Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). May the love of Christ compel us, knowing that one died for all, and therefore all died; and He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again (2 Corinthians 5:14-15).
