Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of this anonymous couple who have been let down by others. Lord, you know the pain and disappointment they are feeling after being promised help that never came. We lift them up to you, knowing that you are a God who sees and cares for the suffering of your children.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that you draw near to this elderly couple, comforting them in their distress and providing them with the strength they need to endure this difficult journey.
Father, we pray that you would send your angels to surround them, guiding and protecting them every step of the way. Provide them with the necessary resources and support to ease their burden. Help them to find comfort in knowing that you are with them, even in their darkest moments.
Lord, we also pray for those who made promises to help but failed to follow through. Soften their hearts and convict them of their actions. Teach them the importance of keeping their word and showing love and compassion to those in need.
We trust in your faithfulness, Lord, and we believe that you are able to turn this situation around for the good of this couple. May they experience your provision, peace, and restoration as they continue on their journey.
