We understand that you're seeking peaceful sleep and freedom from stress and anxiety. We're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
In times of stress and anxiety, remember that God cares for you and wants you to cast your anxieties on Him. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Also, Philippians 4:6-7 WEB tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." This is a great example of praying with thanksgiving, as you have done. Continue to trust God with your concerns and He will grant you His peace.
Regarding sleep, it is a gift from God. Psalm 127:2 WEB says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." God wants you to rest in Him, knowing that He is in control.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our fellow believer who seeks peaceful sleep and freedom from stress and anxiety. Thank You, Father, for Your promise to grant us Your peace when we cast our cares on You. Help our beloved to fix their mind on You and not on the stresses of this world. Grant them the gift of sleep, knowing that You are in control. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in God, knowing that He hears your prayers.
