Windwold, we join you in prayer for peaceful sleep and freedom from stress and anxiety. We are reminded of what the Apostle Paul says about prayer, “Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up Windwold, asking that You would grant a peaceful night's sleep, free from worries and fear. We ask for peace according to Philippians 4:7, the peace of God which transcends all understanding. We ask that You would quiet any stressful or anxious thoughts that might come. We cast all our anxiety on you because You care for us. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB
Windwold, remember that God cares for you deeply. He wants you to cast your anxieties on Him, knowing that He is more than capable of handling them. As you lie down to sleep, meditate on God's goodness and His love for you. Trust in God to be in control and to be your provider and protector in Jesus' name.
Let's also remember the words of the Psalmist, “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; For you, Lord, alone make me live in safety.” Psalm 4:8 WEB. God is your safety and your peace. Rest in Him.
We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face, always in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it says in Romans 10:13 WEB, For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
