We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with Ronald, and we want to help you pray and seek God's will in this matter. We commend you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as this is the only way we can approach God according to John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me and according to Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Firstly, we want to address the issue of Ronald's alcohol abuse and his harassment towards you. This behavior is not acceptable, and it is clear that you are living in an ungodly situation and relationship, one that is perhaps one of a boyfriend and girlfriend perhaps which is not condoned by God because it should be leading to marriage and Ronald's behavior is not that of a godly spouse. According to Ephesians 5:18 "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit". We pray that Ronald will repent of his alcoholism and that God will deliver him from this bondage which may only be possible by an intervention of God.
We also want to discuss Ronald currently living with you as this is not a godly marriage or a courtship. According to 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who do not know God" and Ephesians 5:3 "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints". We rebuke and plainly say this relationship needs to be made righteous in God's eyes.
Moreover, we want to speak plainly to any violence, more specifically verbal abuse. We know this does not please God, and there is no place for this in any relationship. Colossians 3:8 "But now you also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth". It needs to stop, Ronald needs to repent, and we pray he would have a transformation through Christ.
It is also our hearts that Ronald has caused you such pain and turmoil. We pray this burden is lifted from your shoulders and you are released from this unfair situation. Also, that Ronald and his mistress Michelle are convicted of their sin or sins. Give them both a divine appointment with Jesus Christ to show them the path of truth and righteousness. Only through God can Ronald find healing and deliverance from his actions.
Regarding the complicated relationship between Ronald, you, and Michelle, we pray that God will bring clarity and resolution. It is not right for Ronald to be living with you while having a mistress for over 10 years. This is adultery and immoral. According to Exodus 20:14 "You shall not commit adultery". We pray that God will convict Ronald of his sin and lead him to repentance. We also pray that God will grant you the strength and courage to deal with this situation and that you will be released from this ungodly bondage that needs to be broken. God has promised that he will never leave you nor forsake you, according to Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you".
Let us pray:
Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in her time of need. We pray that you will intervene in this situation and bring an end to Ronald's harassment and alcohol abuse. We ask that you will grant our dear sister peace and protection, and that you will bring conviction to Ronald and Michelle, leading them to repentance and righteousness. We pray that you will grant our sister the strength and courage to face this situation and that you will bring a resolution to this ungodly relationship or transform it and make it righteous under your watchful eye. We ask this all in Jesus Christ's name, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
