We understand your heart's desires and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We are happy that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name we can be saved and we can approach God the Father.
Firstly, let's address the issue of your vacation and the discussions you intend to have. We pray that the Lord grants you peace and productivity as you go about your day. Remember, the Bible tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Now, let's discuss the relationships you mentioned. It's clear that you have feelings for someone and you desire a positive outcome from your discussions. However, we must address a few concerns biblically. You mentioned that you do not want this person to have an attitude or feel bad, but rather to be proud and supportive. We must remember that our goal should not be to manipulate others' emotions, but to walk in love and truth, as Ephesians 4:15 WEB says, "speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ."
You also mentioned your desire for this person to be a man with you, not look at other women, initiate a divorce, and get married. This brings up several points of concern.
1. Fornication and Adultery. We must remember that sexual relationships outside of marriage or adultery is a sin. Hebrews 13:4 WEB says, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
2. Divorce and Remarriage. The Bible also teaches us that divorce is not God's best and that remarriage after divorce is adultery unless the divorce was because of fornication or adultery. Matthew 5:32 WEB says, "but I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is divorced commits adultery."
3. Biblical Manhood. A godly husband is not one who merely refrains from looking at other women, but one who actively loves and leads his wife as Christ loves and leads the church. Ephesians 5:25 WEB says, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
We must also remember that we cannot force someone to love us or marry us. We should trust God with our future and seek His will for our lives. Psalm 37:4 WEB says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh,And he will give you the desires of your heart." The word delight means to find pleasure in the Lord, trusting Him rather than ourselves or others.
Lastly, we join you in prayer for the salvation of your coworkers. This is the best thing to pray for them. We pray that you will be a living testimony to them, showing God's truth and greatness in your life.
