We are glad to join you in prayer, seeking God's face for your life. In the Bible, Jesus tells us, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27 WEB)
We encourage you to be sure that you have the peace of Jesus. It is only by having Jesus Christ in your life that we have access to God. For Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB) There is no other name by which we can be saved. For salvation, the scripture says, "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9 WEB) This is the starting point for God's peace.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to experience Your peace and know Your will. We pray that You will reveal Yourself to him/her in a very real way, filling his/her heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask also that You make Your will and purpose for his/her life clear, guiding him/her in the paths You have prepared. Help him/her to trust in You with all his/her heart, and lean not on his/her own understanding, so that You will direct his/her paths. For You are a loving God who desires the best for Your children. Help him/her pursue a life of marriage and service to others.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by these words from the Bible: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)
We also encourage you to pursue a life that honors God in all aspects, including relationships. Remember that God has designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman who have purity before marriage and faithfulness during their marriage. This is the path that leads to true peace and fulfillment.
Trust in the Lord, and may you find His peace and guidance in your life.
