We are grateful for your heartfelt request, Woemor, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will as we come together in the name of Jesus Christ. We commend you for acknowledging the grace of God in your life and your desire to reconcile with those you've hurt and those who have hurt you. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:23-24 (WEB):
"If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."
It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is good that you used the name Yeshua which is the Hebrew name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We are saved by grace through faith in the name of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 (WEB) says
"for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."
To find peace with your past, remember that if you have repented and trusted in Jesus Christ, your sins are forgiven, and you are a new creation in Christ. The grace of God has made you a changed man, so dwell no more on your past mistakes. The Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:22-24 (WEB):
Put off your old nature which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new nature, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
Praying with you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Woemor. We thank You for the grace you have shown him, making him a new creation in Christ. Lord, help him to find peace with his past, to forgive those who have hurt him, and to seek forgiveness from those he has hurt.
Guide him as he seeks to reconcile with others, and let your healing power work in his life, freeing him from the bondage of his past mistakes. Fill his heart with your peace, and help him to dwell on your goodness and the new life he has in Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous as you walk in the newness of life in Christ. Remember the words of Paul in Philippians 3:13-14 (WEB):
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do. Forgetting what is behind, and reaching forward to what is before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
