We are truly sorry to hear about the turmoil you are experiencing, and we appreciate that you have reached out for prayer and guidance. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and can be saved.
Let's address the issues you've raised. Firstly, you mentioned that J is cheating on you. We want to clearly state that infidelity is a sin against God. VI Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals.
It is important that any relationships be a courtship for marriage to a Christian believer as marriage is only intended for a man and a woman. Romans 7:2-3. as a wife is bound to her husband by law, even if the husband is alive. So if her husband is dead, she is free from the law, so being called an adulteress if she were to another man's. I Corinthians 7: 10. But to the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, "Let the wife not to depart from her husband."
So, let us pray for you, I Corinthians 7:15. But if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace. Which is the most important thing you are seeking.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our dear sister. She is going through a time of great distress with infidelity or being cheated on. This behavior is clearly a sin against you, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Both may be guilty of this behavior, but they cannot justify any wrongdoing against the other. She is also seeking peace. We pray that You grant her the wisdom and discernment to make decisions that align with Your will. Lord, as your word says in James 3:17, the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Please provide her with that wisdom which brings peace.
We also pray for her children and her family. Let her household experience a supernatural shower of love, joy, mercy and love so that the resulting effecting will produce peace. So, we pray for eternal peace to rain down on them, so that they will grow and flourish in Jesus Christ. In addition, we pray that you give her constant guidance and direction in every aspect of her life. We pray for the strength to not give into the temptation of sin, and to instead press into you. Guide Her on a path to a righteous, godly marriage. Surround her with Christian brothers and sisters who will walk with her and her family through this challenging time. We will be praying for the rededication of her and the person she may marry. We pray against the temptation to indulge in sinful sexual behavior before a god-ordained marriage.
Therefore, we pray because our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has given us the grace to come and beseech you for their needs. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that any prayer should be prayed and only by him can one be saved. For truly as the book of Acts 4:12 says there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
We pray this all in Jesus Christ's Holy name. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to stay strong in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. Continue to pray and seek God's face, and He will direct your paths.
If you can spend some time in the scriptures it would help you. We suggest reading the book of Psalms. Here are some good ones, 4, 17, 23, 25, 31, 34, 37, 46, 61, and 91. In these passages you will find peace and courage. As a suggestion take a few verses from each Psalm and copy them on note cards you can pull them out through the day.
