We understand that you're seeking peace and strength to forgive yourself for past sins, ###. Firstly, let's remember that the Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). This means that once you've confessed your sins to God, He has forgiven you, and you are cleansed.
However, it's common to still feel guilty even after receiving God's forgiveness. This is where faith comes in. We must believe that God keeps His promises. He says, "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more" (Hebrews 8:12 WEB). If God chooses not to remember our sins, we should also strive to forgive ourselves.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let His love and forgiveness guide you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
