Praying in Jesus Name. Amen.
Shodsir, we join you in prayer for peace on earth and goodwill toward all, especially this coming week. We appreciate that you've included the name of Jesus in your prayer, as it is through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your peace to reign on earth. We pray for goodwill among men, women, children, and all people. Lord, we ask for Your blessing and grace to be upon us all. Make this week ahead of us amazing, filled with Your love, mercy, and kindness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We are reminded of the angel's proclamation in Luke 2:14 (WEB), "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those who are pleased with him." It is our desire that more people would be pleased with Him and experience His perfect peace.
As we pray for peace, let's also remember the words of Jesus in John 14:27 (WEB), "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful." His peace is different from the world's, and it is only through Him that we can experience true peace.
Let's continue to pray fervently, being confident that our prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16). Together, let us seek God's will for our lives and for those around us, trusting that He hears and answers our prayers according to His good and perfect will.
