**Heavenly Father,**
We lift up Your child who has recently transitioned to a new job after many years of faithful service at their previous place of employment. Lord, we thank You for this opportunity and the blessings that come with it. We ask that You ease the anxiety that accompanies this change and provide the peace that only You can give.
Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We ask that Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard the heart and mind of Your child, bringing calm and clarity in the midst of uncertainty.
Father, we pray for wisdom and strength to balance the demands of life and work. As it is written in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Grant them the wisdom to navigate this new season, making decisions that honor You and lead to a fulfilling and balanced life.
We also bring their financial concerns before You, Lord. You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and we trust in Your provision. As You promised in Matthew 6:31-33, "So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Help Your child to seek Your kingdom first, trusting that You will provide for all their needs.
Finally, Lord, we pray that Your presence will be felt more strongly than ever in their life. Draw them closer to You, providing comfort, guidance, and assurance as they lean on You during this time. Let them find rest in Your arms, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior.
**Amen.**
